OUR MISSION
The Sycamore Canyon PTSA is committed to building a strong school community, school spirit and the best educational environment for our children.
we are a non-profit organization, 100% run by volunteers & faculty.
We strategically steward funds to make a meaningful impact in a variety of areas at Sycamore Canyon School. Together, we focus our efforts on enrichment, community, staff development and support, and school improvement.
Enriching school programming
through our Art, STEAM Lab, Garden, and Physical education programs. These are funded through the proceeds raised each year from various PTSA events. We also fund and run special programs throughout the year such as Lunch Lab, Red Ribbon Week, the Reflections Art Program, and more.
Building strong community ties via special events
From the holiday toy drive and regular restaurant nights, to parent/child events and our annual Fun Run - check out our Events page to keep up with what’s happening!
Growing students’ love of nature
at our onsite SCS Science and Habitat Learning Center (also known as The Garden). The Garden also serves as the venue for grade-level workshops, Edible Lab, Pi Day in the Garden, and more.
Staff development & school improvement
through investments in technology, the water filtration system, K-8 grade level grants, Staff Appreciation Week, the online student store, professional development for teachers, and more.
